Community Tariff
All Ekota Prepaid & Postpaid subscribers belong to special community & all of them will enjoy community tariff. Through this tariff all Ekota users can talk @ 0.49/min among their postpaid & prepaid users community. This will bring down their total business expense.
To identify which mobile number belongs to your community, follow the below process:
Emergency Balance
All EKOTA Subscribers will enjoy the Emergency Balance by default. By this facility subscriber can talk up to 10 taka more than his actual balance.
If s/he uses this service his total balance will show negative & the very next time after recharging the emergency balance amount (which was used) will be deducted from the balance.
For example: a subscriber used 5 taka of 10 taka of his Emergency Balance. Then, when he recharges 50 taka, his balance will show as 45 taka.
This is applicable only Ekota Prepaid subscribers.
Recharge Based Bonus/Discount on Usage:
All Ekota Prepaid subscribers will enjoy 10% BONUS on every 150 Tk or more recharge (at a go) & Postpaid subscribers will get 10% DISCOUNT on 300 Tk or more usage (as per Monthly Bill Cycle).

Ways to check remaining bundle minutes, SMS and Data:
- Subscribers can check their remaining bundle minute balance by dialing *566*7#
- Subscribers can check their remaining free SMS balance by dialing *566*2#
- Subscribers can check their remaining free Data balance through dialing *566*60#
Conditions:
- Bundle minutes are not applicable for ISD calls
- Bundle SMS is usable for On-net SMS only.
- Remaining voice/SMS/data balance will be 0(zero) & will not be usable after validity expiration of the bundle packs
- 24hr 60 sec pulse is applicable for bundle minute
- After bundle validity expires or completion of usage, it will be charged according to their regular product tariff. For data part, subscriber will revert back to their existing internet package.
- Existing voice/SMS/Data balance will be added with the newly purchased pack volume & higher validity will be applicable

1.What is Ekota?
Ekota is prepaid product of Grameenphone for Small and SoHo Business Organizations. This product features are specially designed considering the Business Customers need.
2.Who are eligible for Ekota?
Small and SoHo business organizations are the eligible subscribers for Ekota who has an employee base of 1-50.
3.Is there any process to identify other Ekota subscriber?
Yes, Ekota subscriber will send a SMS to 4444 by writing the number. In reply SMS S/he will know whether this is an Ekota number or not.
Process:
- Ekota Subscribers will type Chk 0171XXXXXXX and send it to 4444 port.
- For Ekota product the reply text will be: This is Ekota Product.
- For non Ekota GP Product the reply text will be: This is not Ekota Product.
Note:
i) No SMS charge is applicable.
ii) 'Chk' keyword will be case insensitive.
iii) Apart from Ekota product other GP/Non-GP requester will get the reply text as Wrong keyword
