Grameenphone brings you the Stock Update Service - Bull - on your mobile. Get updated information on stock price, view your own portfolio, and be alerted on stock price fluctuations on the Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchanges. Bull is a Java application for mobile phones which displays stock information from the Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchanges using EDGE/GPRS.
The information is live during regular business hours of the stock market. However, after live trading hours, only the last trade information will be available.

How to Download:
- In order to avail the application, first download Bull from the “Business City” link on GP World (wap.gpworld.com) or simply type ‘Bull’ and send it to 2000 to receive the download link.
Registration:
- After downloading the application, write Bull<Space>reg and send it to 4636
- Your account will be activated within 72 hours. After successful registration you will get your subscription information and password through SMS.
How to start using:
- Open the "Bull" Application on your phone
- Login to the application using your mobile number as username and your password (sent to you through SMS). You should see a screen like the one below:

Settings:
- Add Stock: You can find any DSE- and CSE-enlisted company from here and select the companies of your choice to create your own portfolio. You can add up to 20 companies to your portfolio.
- Remove Stock: You can remove a company from your portfolio
- Interval & Ticker: You can set the information update time with the software, as per your requirement, from the specified time band. The application will connect to the server and update the prices of all the added stocks according to the predefined time.
Details:
- Summary: You can view summary of current prices and the status of your stock portfolio. You can also get detailed trade information of a company by clicking on its name.
Graphs:
- You can view the price trend of any company in your portfolio on a graph. The graph will display the price change trend over the last seven trading days.
Index:
- Select Display type (Text or Graph) and then view the indexes from DSE and CSE
What If?
- Get help to calculate your stock value on purchase price or current price. You can calculate your profit or loss from this menu. It's based on current market price and your purchase price. For example, you purchased 100 shares at Tk. 100/share. If the price goes to Tk. 110/share, your profit will be Tk. 10 x 100 = Tk. 1000.
Alerts:
- Receive instant notification on matching of the current price with your desired price. The service will allow you to set up an alert, based on your desired price; alerts will be sent over SMS as soon the stock price matches your desired price.
