Cellbazaar

Cellbazaar is a service from Grameenphone that allows you to buy or sell over your mobile phone. If you want to sell something, post the information on CellBazaar through Grameenphone, and buyers will contact you. If you are looking for something to buy, or a service (e.g., tutor), you can look for it on CellBazaar and contact the seller directly. When buyers sees an item they like, they can call the seller, get additional information, and meet the seller to complete the transaction. CellBazaar is a platform for buyers and sellers to find each other.

Cell bazaar can be used in the following ways:

Internet/EDGE Activated Mobile Handset: If you have a phone with internet, go to wap.cellbazaar.com with your phone's internet browser; or go to the GP World WAP site and look for the CellBazaar icon. Please ensure your phone setting is set to GP-WAP or GP-Internet, and EDGE package P1/P2 is activated.

Internet/EDGE Non-Supported Mobile Handset * To buy, SMS buy to 3838 and follow the instructions in the reply SMS. To sell, SMS sell to 3838. You can also dial 3838 to get information on latest postings. BDT 2 will be charged for SMS and IVR.

Desktop PC/Computer:

There is no extra charge to use the service - the cost of the service is the same as your standard GP SMS/IVR/data charge.
