As of 19th October 2010, Grameenphone has introduced data optimization platform to cater the needs of its valued internet subscriber. The purpose of this platform is to  provide enhanced network performance so that subscribers can enjoy faster web page loading & access to data service.
 
This clientless optimization solution from Grameenphone is directed towards improving the subscribers  overall web experience. At the same time, subscribers save on access fees as compression takes place during data access and  pay as you go’ subscribers are charged based on this compressed volume.
 
However, due to the compression initiative, which releases extra bandwidth to improve page loading time, some of the image quality may get compromised. Valued Subscribers who wish to see the original quality image are requested to take the following steps depending on the browser they are using.

Note: For certain websites, Subscribers are requested to clear their cache to remove the old images, before using the short-cuts to view original image.
