Mobile Backup is a service that ensures a safe and secure way of storing important data of your mobile phone including Contacts, SMS, Photos, Music, etc. The Mobile Backup service saves your mobile phone's data to Grameenphone's secure server, and also enables you to restore the saved data back in your phone, whether it is new or existing.

Subscription Process:

Subscribe:

SMS: Write Start MB (High End Handset) & Start S (Low End Handset) and send to 6000

USSD: Dial *111*2*8#

Web: Go to webserv.grameenphone.com/mobilebackup from your PC and click on Sign Up button

Unsubscribe:

SMS: Write Stop MB and send to 6000 and then sending a confirmation keyword 'Yes' to short-code after being asked to do so. Or, you can dial *111*2*8# and then dial 2 to unsubscribe.

Tariff:

High End Handset (EDGE /GPRS enabled) - BDT 20/month + 15% VAT
Low End Handset (Non-EDGE/GPRS enabled) – BDT 10/month + 15% VAT
