Voice Mail Service
Grameenphone offers you the Voice Mail service (VMS) so that you do not miss any of your important calls. Voice Mail is a type of answering machine. It allows you to have incoming messages recorded when your mobile is:
- Busy
- Switched Off
- Out of Coverage
- Or the call is not picked up (no reply)
If you are unreachable or unable to answer your calls within 20 seconds, the service will automatically divert the call to your voice mail. You will receive a SMS notification, that you have a message and you may retrieve it at your convenient time. This service is available for all Grameenphone subscribers.
Activation Process:
To activate VMS, you need to divert your incoming calls to any of the modes given below –

HOW TO RETRIEVE MESSAGES?
- You will receive an SMS Notification when another party leaves a message
- You need to dial 1266 and follow instructions to retrieve the messages deposited in your mail box
- Roamers (while staying abroad) need to dial +8801700001266 to access mail box
