Welcome to Grameenphone STAR Subscriber program

Step into a world of special privileges from Grameenphone! Our STAR Subscriber program is designed to recognize and appreciate you as our valuable subscriber. You can be member of the program based on certain usage and network age criteria. The program has already introduced a series of privileges and is continuously active to fulfill your expectations.

STAR Status Check:


You can check your membership status in two ways:
  • Through SMS: send Keyword: STAR to SMS Port: 9000
  • Through USSD: USSD Short Code: *111*9*1#

Get your STAR Card for Free:

  • Dial *111*9*2# to get your STAR Card (you need to have GP-MMS settings in your handset)

How to be a star!

  • To be a STAR Subscriber you must be with Grameenphone for a considerable duration of time with certain minimum usage
  • Once you are STAR Subscriber your STAR status will be valid for 3 months. The STAR Status will be reviewed every 3 months
  • If you are not yet in the STAR program, your eligibility will be checked every month

There are three tiers to the STAR program: Platinum, Gold & Silver.

Platinum STAR

As a Platinum STAR Subscriber enjoy special priority and privileges from Grameenphone!

  • Enjoy privileged service from dedicated customer care managers at 121 hotline
  • We serve you with greater privilege at all Grameenphone Centers. Fridays are especially dedicated to serving you with special priority at Grameenphone Centers
  • When you are in urgency for a SIM Replacement, you can have your SIM replaced completely FREE! Our Platinum STAR Subscribers can have FREE SIM Replacement service from selected GPCs only
  • You can also enjoy special discount benefits from Grameenphone and special STAR Partner stores. Click ‘Special Offers’ page to know more!
  • There are Special Invitations, Gifts and more to experience for the Platinum Customers of Grameenphone!

Gold STAR

As a Gold STAR Subscriber enjoy special priority and privileges from Grameenphone!
