2. What are Seemo Smart Devices?

Our Smart Devices is a security device meant to allow you to keep track of what happens inside your home or office any time anywhere. It connects to your WIFI and/or 3G/4G network, has one way live video streaming, motion sensor which activates and alerts you upon detecting motion, 2 way communications which allows you to hear and speak to your residents and employees and instant alerts that always keep you updated about whereabouts at your home/office. Seemo provides Cloud Storage facility that helps you record images and videos of the activities taking place at your home/office which you can access from anywhere and anytime.

Seemo is a combination of hardware and an App, and this combination makes it an innovative device. It is a Smart Devices which is used by installing a particular App (Seemo App) from iTunes and Google Play. In short it is an intelligent device for intelligent living.

Unlike CCTVs our device is proactive and provides data security and minimum wiring and hassle. You can also connect it with power bank to prevent halt of service during power surge which is not found anywhere else.

5. How does it work?

Answer: Seemo connects to your home’s Wi-Fi and/or mobile 3G/4G network and sends real-time notifications to your smart phone or tablet when someone is at your home/office. By using the free Seemo App you can see an HD Video stream of the person at your home/office and speak to them using two-way audio communication. Seemo devices can alert you when motion is detected. You will get instant push notification on your smart phone, whenever you have invited or uninvited visitors. Seemo user can use all these features from anywhere. Thus, Seemo ensures your complete security.

6. How much bandwidth required running this device?

Answer: 2 MBPS unlimited bandwidth is required to run the service uninterruptedly.

7. Why not CC TV instead of SEEMO?

Answer: Seemo Smart Devices can not only connect to WIFI, it can also connect to 3G/4G network. Thus, either of them can be used.

13. Does Seemo Smart Devices need to be tethered to the computer during the setup process?

Answer: Seemo Smart Devices is set up wirelessly by the Seemo App on your smart device. Seemo Smart Devices does not need to be connected to a computer during setup or operation.

14. Do i have to charge the internal battery prior to setting up and installing my Seemo Smart Devices?

Answer: No, the initial setup is done using the adapter that comes with our box

APP Installation and Login

1. Where can I download Seemo app?

Ans. You can download the Seemo app from Google play store or Itunes

2. How do I register for the app?

Ans. To register/create account in our app:

  • Install the app from Google Play Store or Itunes
  • Open the app and create account with mobile number or email address by verifying security code sent to your mobile/mail address you entered
  • After verification and confirmation, login with the mobile number/email address and your designated password.

3. Can I have multiple devices in 1 app under 1 account?

Answer: Yes, you can have multiple devices configured under one account in the same app. All of them shall be displayed in the home page with the designated name you have given to the device.

4. How do I view live feed?

Answer: Open the Seemo app. You shall see the list of configured products. Tap on the desired product i.e. indoor cam or Indoor Camera to see its live feed.

5. How to talk using the Seemo app?

Answer: Open the app and login to your preferred device. Press the ‘Hold To Talk’ button for 1.5 seconds until a larger circle concentric circle appears and then start talking. After you have finished, let go of the button. The listener on the other side can’t hear until you release the ‘Hold To Talk’ button. Our 2 way communication works like a Walkie-Talkie where only 1 person talks at a time.

6. How to change motion sensor settings?

Answer: Open the app and access your desired device. At the bottom left click on motion and select your motion sensor sensitivity. You can also change it by pressing Settings and then Motion.

7. How to access and/or download from cloud storage?

Answer: Open the app and access your desired device. Press on Events to see images of that device. The device name is inside the bracket while the type of notification causing this image e.g. motion/ Indoor Camera is mentioned before the device name e.g. Motion(Home). You can download the images from there

To access videos, go to the history tab, select date and the time of the video.  You can download them by pressing download in which case it would appear in Downloaded tab in History as well.

8. How to change video quality?

Answer: Open the app and access your desired device. At the bottom right of the live feed part you will see the video quality button (the upper one with a horizontal triangle) then select your preferred video quality.

9. How to make video full screen?

Answer: Open the app and access your desired device. At the bottom right of the live feed part you will see the video full screen button, it is the lower one.

10. How to change device password?

Answer: Open the app and access your desired device. Press Settings button (bottom right). Select Change Password and enter old and new ones.

Please note that this is the process of changing password for the device you are accessing, not account.

11. How to change Wifi?

Answer: Open the app and access your desired device. Press Settings button (bottom right). Select Change Wifi and after it searches for WIFI, select your desired WIFI.

This process is applicable after the initial device setup is done.

12. How to change microphone or speaker volume/sensitivity of device?

Answer: Open the app and access your desired device. Press Settings button (bottom right). Select Change Device Volume from where you can change sensitivity of microphone and volume of speaker of the device.

13. How to change Night Vision?

Answer: Open the app and access your desired device. Press Settings button (bottom right). Select Night Vision and select your preferred setting.

 14. How to Remove a device from the app?

Answer: Open the app and access your desired device you want to remove. Press Settings button (bottom right). Select Remove Device. This would remove the selected device.

15. How to Reboot device from the app?

Answer: Open the app and access your desired device you want to remove. Press Settings button (bottom right). Select Reboot to restart device from app.

16. How to switch off notifications?

Answer. Open Seemo app, press the upper right menu button(the one with 3 horizontal lines). Press Account and then App Notification Settings. You can disable Motion Notification, Indoor Camera notification or all notification.

17. How to change account information?

Answer: Open Seemo app, press the upper right menu button(the one with 3 horizontal lines). Press Account and then Profile. Now you can change and update your Profile information.

18. How to change password of account?

Answer: Open Seemo app, press the upper right menu button(the one with 3 horizontal lines). Press Account and then Change Password. Put the old password and then the new one.

19. How to buy package with Seemo app?

Answer: Open Seemo app, press the upper right menu button(the one with 3 horizontal lines). Press Package. You can both compare and buy/change/renew your package.

20. How to access Emergency Contacts police station?

Answer: Open Seemo app, press the upper right menu button(the one with 3 horizontal lines). Press Emergency contacts. Search for your desired police station

21. How to add new users?

Answer: There are two methods to add new users

Method 1:

  • To add another user, open the app and press Plus button in new users phone, then press the ‘Add device without the setup’
  • Scan the QR code on the back of the device
  • After the device is added successfully, the device will appear on your app home page.
  • To view the live video feed and history, press the Play button

Method 2:

  • Open Seemo app and press menu button at top right corner.
  • Press Account then Add User
  • Press the plus icon at the bottom
  • Enter the mobile number or email of the person, select if he would be admin or user and select the device in which you add the user
  • The device would display in new user’s phone

Seemo Smart Devices Installation:

1. When the power goes what happens?

Answer: Seemo comes up with built in backup battery(only for doorbell) of 770 mAh which would ensure operation even during load shedding. In addition, it has USB charger port which can be plugged into a power bank. Thus, even during load shedding, a power bank and backup battery can help ensure uninterrupted performance.

2. Where is the reset button?

Answer: At the top of the camera.  One needs to press it 10 times rapidly to restart the device

3. What should be the device name?

Answer: User may provide any name; he/she wishes to give.

4. How do I view live feed?

Answer: By using the free Seemo App you can see a Live HD Video stream of the person at your home or office and speak to them using two-way audio communication. Log into the app and click on the play button of the desired device.

5. How do I see things from the cloud?

Answer: Seemo provides cloud storage privilege through which user can keep identity and video information stored. User needs to log in the device he/she wants to access and from there he/she can access cloud through Events or History tabs.

6. How to install (Short answer for general query), who will install it?

Answer: Firstly, you need to install Seemo App from iTunes and Google Play. After that all you need is a smartphone to stay connected as Seemo devices are Wi-Fi enabled. Also, you will get the user manual in the box of Seemo which will enable you to install Seemo easily on your own.

Seemo comes with user friendly features. So, user can easily install Seemo on one’s own.

7. What is the process of installing Seemo on my own? (Broad answer for in-depth information)

Answer: You can easily install Seemo by following few easy steps:

Connecting the router:

  • Step 1: Installing the SIM card

Choose the correct SIM cards and insert it into the SIM card slot and then connect the power adapter to the router. The router will turn on automatically and search for available mobile networks.

  • Step 2: Connecting to router’s Wi-Fi network

Once the router has connected to a mobile data network, you can connect your SEEMO Smart Device to the router’s Wi-Fi networks to access the Internet. Please refer to the label on the bottom of the router for the default Wi-Fi network name (Wi-Fi Name) and password (Wi-Fi Password).

Registration and Log in:

  • Install the Seemo app from Apple Store / Google Play Store
  • Complete the user registration from the App
  • Log in with Username and Password (*First user to register will be default admin)

Installing the device: (Device admin and Wi-Fi sync)

  • Unbox the Indoor Camera/Doorbell
  • Power the device using the header adapter
  • Press plus button in the app, then press ‘add device with initial setting’
  • Scan the QR code on the back of the device
  • Add the default device password “admin” in the app. Enter your Wi-Fi network password of your router.
  • Once added successfully, the device will appear on your app home page
  • To view the live video feed and history press the Play button.

Answer: QR code is machine-readable code consisting of an array of black and white squares. QR code is placed in the back of the Seemo Device. User needs to scan it through the Seemo App to install the device to sync admin and Wi-Fi setting.

9. How to install the device with Wi-Fi

Answer: User can install the device in the following manner: (Device admin and Wi-Fi sync)

  • Unbox the Indoor Camera/Doorbell
  • Power the device using the header adapter
  • Press plus button in the app, then press ‘add device with initial setting’
  • Scan the QR code on the back of the device
  • Add the default device password “admin” in the app. Enter your Wi-Fi network password.
  • Once added successfully, the device will appear on your app home page
  • To view the live video feed and history press the Play button.

11. What do the events, motion, history tabs stand for?

Answer: You can follow up the motion and Indoor Camera/Doorbell press activity in the events tab. In case of any movements within the range of Seemo’s motion sensor, the movement will be captured immediately in the motion tab. Through history tab you can access the backups of videos at your convenience.

12. How to change the video streaming quality?

Answer: Seemo provides the option to adjust the video streaming quality. So you will be able to manage the quality of the video easily. At the bottom right corner of the live feed screen can be found the triangular play button, by pressing it one can change video streaming resolution.s

13. What is the difference between device setting and other setting?

Answer: Device setting is for a particular device and other setting are for the general setting.

14. How do I add a user to this device?

Answer: To add another user, open the app and press Plus button in new users phone, then press the ‘Add device without the setup’

15. I can’t hear what the other side is saying-how to change device microphone sensitivity or change phone volume?

Answer: User can change device microphone sensitivity or change phone volume through device setting under change device volume tab.

16. The other person can’t hear what I’m saying over the phone, how can I change speaker volume of device?

Answer: The speaker volume of device can be changed by going to device setting under the change device volume tab.

17. How to view a specific event or video?

Answer: Users can check the specific event or video through cloud storage service.

18. How to access a video I downloaded

Answer: Through history page user can access a video that is being downloaded. They are arranged according to date and time.
