Bangladesh has been witnessing economic prosperity. Connectivity and digitalization have been pivotal in bringing about growth. In this journey Grameenphone is constantly exploring innovative solutions to offer to our clients. The satisfaction of knowing that our work touches lives of many people gives us the motivation to drive innovation and continue to make an impact.

It is more meaningful when our efforts makes lives and livelihood of others more meaningful and easier. Just recently we have signed contract with Plan international with an ambition to empower 23 lac people from most vulnerable communities over next 48 months.

The ambition of this journey is to include those who need our support the most and leave no one behind. These people are from char or haor areas, bede communities, small business women, drop out adolescents, transgender, tea garden workers, persons with disabilities, and indigenous groups. . We plan to provide need based technical solutions designed and built around the needs of, and in participation with, individuals and communities.

Chief guest of the event was Hourable sate Minister, Ministry of social welfare, Md. Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru,, Executive Director, CAMPE and former advisor to the Caretaker Government -Rasheda k Chowdhury, and Director General of Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education Professor Nehal Ahmed and along with CEO Grameenphone Yasir Azman and Country Director of Plan International Kabita Bose.

The Event was attended by representatives of different Multilateral and bilateral organizations and foreign mission.
