Emergency Balance!

Terms & Conditions

  • All GP prepaid customers can enjoy Emergency Balance/Minute loan/Internet loan from minimum 13 Tk to maximum 200 Tk. The loan amount will be dynamically determined based on customer usage behavior and will be automatically refreshed each month.

  • Emergency Balance/Minute Loan can be availed if customer's main account balance is less than 30 Tk. Emergency Internet can be availed if main account balance is less than 5 Tk & Internet balance is less than 10MB.

  • For Emergency Balance/Minute loan/Internet loan amount 13Tk - 200Tk, Service fee of 2Tk + VAT, SD, SC will be charged during recharge. This service fee is not applicable for Buy Now, Pay Later.

  • To avail Emergency Balance/Minute Loan, customers need to dial *121*1#

  • To know emergency balance limit, dial *121*1*5#; Customers with an Emergency Balance limit between 45tk to 200tk can take Emergency Balance amount by dialing *9#. If eligible limit is 13tk, customer will receive 20 minutes of talk time valid for 48 hours, and loan amount of 25tk + 2.78tk service fee will be deducted from next recharge. Customers with an eligible limit of 18tk will receive 30 minutes of talk time valid for 48 hours, a loan amount of 35tk + 2.78tk service fee will be deducted from next recharge. Customers with an eligible limit of 25tk will receive 39 minutes of talk time valid for 72 hours, a loan amount of 45tk + 2.78tk service fee will be deducted from next recharge. Customers with an eligible limit of 35tk will receive 48 minutes of talk time valid for 5 days, a loan amount of 55tk + 2.78tk service fee will be deducted from next recharge. Customers can also avail Emergency Minute Loan pack or Emergency Balance by dialing *1010# & *121*1# based on their eligible limit.

  • To take Emergency Balance instead of Minute Loan, dial *121*1*5#

  • Customers can use Emergency Balance/Minute loan amount for any voice calls (including GP Hotline 121, 21222, 01711594594 & 01766669999). However, this Emergency Balance/Minute loan is not usable for other GP hotlines. Emergency Balance is usable for any SMS (including SMS to ports). 

  • From emergency balance, no charge on data usage will be applicable.

  • Minute loan/Internet loan is not applicable for any type of roaming usage.

  • Minute loan/Internet loan/used Emergency Balance including Service Fee will be deducted from the next recharge. In case of partial recharge (lower than the used Emergency Balance/Minute loan/Internet loan amount), the remaining amount will be deducted from next recharge.

  • If there is any outstanding Emergency Balance/Minute Loan/Internet loan on a customer’s number, it will be adjusted from the recharge offer and the selected recharge offer will not be activated. If any balance remains after the adjustment, it will be added to customer's main account. Regardless of the recharge channel (Retail/Digital/MFS, etc.) and the type of recharge offer purchased (Minutes/Bundle/Data/SMS/Service Bundling, etc.) this adjustment will be applicable.

  • Upon expiry of the recharge validity, GP may suspend the connection after 60 days. If the customer does not recharge within this suspension period, any outstanding Emergency Balance/Minute loan/Internet loan amount will be adjusted from main account balance.

  • Customer can only avail further Emergency Balance/Minute Loan/Internet loan after paying the full due amount.

  • Minute loan packs are not applicable for call divert/call forward features; regular product package tariff will apply when using these features. The validity of Minutes loan/Internet loan pack will start from the time of purchase. At the end of the validity period, if a customer has any remaining volume, it will be forfeited. 10 sec pulse is applicable on purchased minute loan pack. Auto Renewal feature is not applicable for Minute loan/Internet loan packs.

  • For local calls with emergency balance, consumer customers will be charged as per their respective package tariff (e.g., Nishchinto, djuice, Bondhu, or Smile) and for ISD calls, the applicable ISD rates will be charged.

  • Purchased minutes, free/bonus minutes, bonus amount and main account balance will be used first and emergency balance will be used afterwards.

  • To check Emergency Balance amount, dial *121*1*2#

  • If main account validity (recharge validity) got expired, then Emergency Balance/Minute Loan/Internet loan service will be temporarily unusable.

  • Customers need to clear Emergency Balance due (if any) before Balance Transfer.

  • VAT, Supplementary Duty (SD), surcharge (SC) on base tariff is applicable.

  • This offer is not applicable for Skitto users.
