Artcell, one of the most popular rock bands in Bangladesh, announced on May 24, 2016, that their much-awaited 3rd album is going to be released prior to the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr exclusively on GP Music in association with G Series.
The band, which redefined Bangla rock music since they first broke into the scene, is releasing the latest album after long 10 years. The title of the album still remains a mystery as the band decided to unveil the title in the coming days. The band still retains its original 4-man lineup which includes Lincoln, Ershad, Cezanne and Shaju.
To add even more excitement to the announcement, the band also launched an exclusive music video of their latest single ‘Obimrishshota’ from the album. The teaser of “Obimrishshota” has been widely viewed on the internet since last week. GP Music also hosted a fan contest, from which 5 lucky winners got the opportunity join the announcement event.
George Lincoln D’Costa, vocalist and guitarist of Artcell, remarked, “This album is very special for the four of us. We have been through a lot together, and gave everything we had behind the making of all the songs. We sincerely hope that our fans will enjoy Obimrishshota and the upcoming album”.
Along with the announcement, Artcell put out a call to all their fans - the ‘Artcell Army’ to unite for the grand occasion and to celebrate their philosophy – ‘Artcellism’.
