Grameenphone customers to receive international benefits
Customers of the leading telecom operator of the country, Grameenphone, will now be able to enjoy international benefits. Grameenphone recently committed to separate agreements with Malaysian telecom operator Digi and renowned travel booking website agoda.com. This is the first such offer in Bangladesh from a telecom operator.
Under the agreement with Digi Telecommunications, Grameenphone customers with international roaming subscription will be able to enjoy Digi’s merchant reward offers during their stay in Malaysia. Customers willing to avail the benefits have to show their mobile screen with Digi Network at merchant outlets prior to get the offers. The offer includes services from notable restaurants, cafes, bookstores, grooming outlets, fashion stores, theme parks etc.
Allan Bonke, Chief Marketing Officer of Grameenphone and Christian Thrane, Chief Marketing Officer of Digi have signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
A separate agreement was also signed with the globally renowned travel booking website agoda.com. Under this agreement Grameenphone Platinum Plus/Platinum and Gold/Silver STAR customers shall enjoy additional 7% and 5% off respectively on top of Agoda’s existing discount on Hotel Reservation.
