This product will bring substantial benefits to its customers with free talk-time, ringtones & Voice SMS at start-up, Group-talk feature, low tariff and start-up price, reduced Friends & Family tariff and much more.
Customers can buy Smile at great start-up prices with Smile (Mobile to Mobile) for Tk 200 and Smile (with BTTB connectivity) for Tk 400 only. All Smile (with BTTB connectivity) customers will enjoy free BTTB incoming. Every new Smile connection comes with attractive bundle of benefits worth Tk 250, which contains Tk 150 talktime in three installments, 20 Voice SMS and 5 original ringtones.
Moreover, Smile subscribers will also enjoy reduced tariff of only Tk 2.5 for 24-hours for GP to GP calls and only Tk 1.5 for each SMS. For calls from GP to other operators, customers will enjoy Peak Hour (6 am - 12 am) tariff of only Tk 3 per minute, Off-peak Hour (12 am - 6 am) tariff of only Tk 2.5 per minute and only Tk 2 for each SMS to other local and international operators. This denotes a reduction of tariff ranging from 37% to 67%. Smile customers will also benefit from 30 second pulse in the 1st minute and 20 second from the 2nd minute onwards. Customers can also avail lower ISD rates to 25 countries by dialing 012 followed by the desired number for international calls.
Smile customers will enjoy great Friends & Family rates through which they can talk at only Tk 1 per minute and SMS at only Tk 0.50 to 1 Friends & Family number. Through Smile, Grameenphone has brought a unique and innovative feature called Group-talk. Customers can create a group of 3 Smile subscribers & talk with each other only at Tk 1.5 per minute through the Group-talk feature.
The tariff for djuice, which is specially designed for the youth segment, has also been reduced ranging from 35 % to 58 %. Community tariff has been reduced from Tk 2.4/min to Tk 1.5/min only. Peak tariff has also been reduced from Tk 4.65/min to Tk 3/min, off-peak tariff from Tk 1.98/min to Tk 0.90/min and Friends & Family tariff from Tk 2.4/min to Tk 1/min. SMS tariff for djuice to djuice subscribers has also been reduced by 50 %.
All Easy and Easy Gold subscribers will automatically enjoy the features and services of Smile (mobile to mobile) and Smile (with BTTB connectivity). Existing Easy & Easy Gold subscribers will be automatically migrated to Smile (Mobile to Mobile) and Smile (with BTTB connectivity) from December 1, 2006.
