Grameenphone, Teletalk, EDOTCO Join Hands to Boost Countrywide Connectivity
Dhaka, October 19, 2025: In a major step towards enhancing nationwide connectivity, leading telecommunications services provider Grameenphone, state-owned mobile operator Teletalk, and leading TowerCo EDOTCO Bangladesh have entered into a landmark infrastructure sharing agreement to strengthen Bangladesh’s digital ecosystem.
Through this collaboration, EDOTCO will provide infrastructure support to both Grameenphone and Teletalk, enabling them to expand network coverage across Bangladesh. By leveraging shared tower infrastructure, the partnership will enhance operational and network efficiency, accelerate network rollout, and improve service quality and accessibility for millions of users.
The agreement was signed by Yasir Azman, Chief Executive Officer, Grameenphone; Nurul Mabud Chowdhury, Managing Director, Teletalk; and Sunil Isaac, Country Managing Director, EDOTCO Bangladesh. Also present at the ceremony were Tanveer Mohammad, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Grameenphone; Asif Naimur Rashid, Chief Business Officer, Grameenphone; S.M. Luthfullahil Mozid, Deputy General Manager (Regulatory & Corporate Relation), Teletalk; and Kazi Ayon Adnan, Key Account Manager (KAM), EDOTCO Bangladesh, along with other senior officials from the three organizations.
