How It Works: Getting Started with MyGP
Getting your family connected is simple with the MyGP app:
- Purchase Your Pack: Buy your preferred Family Pack through the MyGP app(find it in Offers Catalogue, Quick Shortcut, or homepage banners). It can be purchased from MFS Channel
- Set Up Your Family: From the MyGP app, click on 'Set Up Family Member' and add up to 5 family members from your contact list or by manually inserting their numbers. You can also explore packs first and then set up your family.
- Distribute Volume: Allocate minutes, data, and SMS to each family member as you wish, directly from the MyGP app.
- Manage & Monitor: View available volume, redistribute unused portions, and receive push notifications when members are low on volume, all within the 'Manage Family Usage' section of your MyGP account.
- Only postpaid customers (except corporate subscribers) are eligible to buy the Family Pack.
- Both postpaid and prepaid subscribers (except corporate subscribers and Skitto) can be added as members within the Family Pack.
- MyGP app is the exclusive platform for creating a family, sharing data, and managing the family group.
- A family group can be set up with up to 5 (five) members; however, sharing is subject to the maximum member count as described in the respective pack.
- When purchasing a pack, the owner must select members from the Family group and allocate specific amounts of Minutes, Data, and SMS to each member.
- Pack owners can consume the volume allocated to any member, if required.
- While using the shared volume, members cannot be removed until the Family Pack purchase cycle ends.
- If the Primary Number has enabled auto-renewal for the Family Pack or repurchases the pack before its validity expires, the member cannot be deleted or removed from the Family Pack member list.
- Members are permitted to buy their own separate Family Packs if they are postpaid users.
- If a member customer (of the Family Pack) purchases a Family Pack and adds the Primary Number as a member, the Family Pack benefits will not be applicable. In such cases, usage will be charged from the customer's main balance or any other active pack, not from the Family Pack.
- The pack owner can share up to 75% of their total Minutes, Data, and SMS volumes with members.
- The 75% share limit does not apply to any carry-forward data volume.
- To use Family Pack sharing benefits correctly, the Primary Member must ensure that adequate shareable volume is allocated to all members during the initial distribution.
- If the pack owner's account gets blocked or suspended, members cannot access shared volumes.
- Members with expired or invalid numbers will not be able to access or utilize the shared volumes.
- If the pack owner or any member has an active pack or subscribes to a new one, the Minutes, Data, and SMS from the Family Pack must be consumed first before utilizing any other pack balances.
- Pack owners will not have access to members' call logs, browsing history, or SMS details, nor can they impose restrictions on members' activities.
- Members cannot give gifts from allocated or shared volume.
- If the owner has purchased 2 (two) Family Packs, separate members must be assigned to each pack.
- In the event of purchasing the same pack within its validity period or during auto-renewal, only the pack owner's volume will be carried forward; the shared volume allocated to members will not be carried forward.
- Once the shared volume is fully consumed, members shall be charged either from their main account balance or from any activated pack.
- The pack owner reserves the right to redistribute or revoke the usage limits (Minutes), Data volume (GB), and SMS at any time, at their sole discretion.
- The pack owner may utilize the shared Minutes, GB, and SMS allocated to the Family Pack.
- The validity period of the shared volume shall align with the validity of the pack owner's Family Pack volume.
- GP reserves the right to postpone, suspend, modify, or cancel any Family Pack-related offers or services at any time with prior SMS notification to the relevant customer(s).
