To do list when you are abroad with GP Roaming:
- No Network? Try This
If your phone can’t find a network, switch on Airplane Mode for 5 minutes, then turn it off. Your phone should connect to a network automatically. - Still No Connection?
If it doesn’t connect, restart your phone and go to your phone’s settings to manually pick a network. - Network Still Not Working?
If you’re still having trouble, reset your phone’s network settings. Restart your phone and try selecting the preferred network again. - Calling Bangladesh
To call a number in Bangladesh while abroad, add +880 before the phone number. - Calling Local Numbers in Your Visiting Country
To call a local number in the country you’re visiting, add that country’s code before the number. - Calling Other Countries
For calls to any other country, add the correct country code with a “+” before the number. - Sending and Receiving Texts
To send or receive SMS, make sure your SMS Center (SMSC) number is set to +8801700000600. You can usually find this in your phone’s messaging settings. - Using the Internet
To use mobile data, turn on “Data Roaming” in your phone’s settings. Make sure you’ve activated the right roaming package.
