Vehicle Tracking Service (VTS) is a Global Positioning System (GPS) based service. VTS will provide you with round the clock security and tracking of your vehicle using mobile apps, web and SMS. Grameenphone has three (3) VTS packages- Standard, Lite and Economy. Grameenphone VTS requires a tracking device to be connected to your vehicle. Device will connect its owner with vehicle using SIM card and internet connections in it. Vehicle movement - position, speed, and engine status on map will be visible in mobile apps and web. VTS allow customized setting - go-no go area, speed limit and reporting to use vehicle more efficiently and provide safety for our near and dear ones. Eventually, turns your vehicle into a smart vehicle.

1. What is Vehicle Tracking Service Economy Package?

Tracking Service Economy Package (eVTS) is new package of VTS. It is very easy to use and install in any vehicle. It is a portable device that runs charging through USB and cables. It is a very handy device that customer can use it to charge through USB cable and put it in any vehicle to track. For customer convenience we provide a casing in which if this portable device in place could be used as tracker permanently in any vehicle. Power source for the device will be from any wire inside vehicle to receive power to run the device.

2. What is price for eVTS?

One time Device Price: 4,499/= and Monthly Fees: 399/= (SD, VAT and SC applicable for monthly fee).

3. Do I need a SIM card for the eVTS?

Yes, GP provided SIM card with eVTS package. It is a serial no of SIM card made available for eVTS.

5. How to use eVTS?

eVTS is an easy self-set up device that can be used as a portable VTS in any vehicle. Steps are mentioned below –

Step 1: Put the micro SIM card in the eVTS device

Step 2: Download the Apps in mobile by scanning QR Code

Step 3: Open the Apps and put your email address to register for first time

Step 4: You will receive an email from eVTS, it will show to click a link in email to complete registration

Step 5: Activate the VTS device by providing S/N and Activation code given on device

Step 6: Set password for the account and track live through Mobile Apps

6. Where can I find eVTS?

At first phase All GPC, GPCF and selected Express Store in Dhaka only

7. What papers are required to avail VTS from GP

For Business customer: They will talk to Grameenphone Key Account Manager (KAM)

For Consumer customer: Below papers are required to avail VTS-

  • Copy of NID
  • 2 Copy Passport Size Photo
  • Car Registration (copy)

8. Can I track my vehicle through Roaming service from abroad?

Yes you can. You just need an internet connection.

9. For getting access in the Website do I need any User Name/Password?

Yes you will need user name and password to access to eVTS portal (https://evts.grameenphone.com)

10. How can I get my User Name and Password?

Simply register using your email address in eVTS portal https://evts.grameenphone.com. Using your email address as user name and set password, you could access to web based tracking. For the first time login, you need to add your device by putting device Activation Code and S/N. It is given in details in installation file

11. Can I change my User Name and Password?

You can change your password only. You can change user password from option menu of eVTS website (https://evts.grameenphone.com)

12. How can I activate my device after login to system?

You have to activate your device by providing S/N and Activation Code mentioned in device

13. How can I pay the monthly service fee?

This fee will be paid against the SIM that is inserted in the GPS device. All ways of paying postpaid bill will be applicable for paying bill for the vehicle tracking service. Only for availing the advance payment discount, customers have to contact the respective GPCs.

14. Is there any way to deduct the monthly fee from owner’s mobile phone?

No

15. Will I be charged for the incoming alerts in my mobile?

NO.

17. Can I access web interface from own mobile phone?

Yes you can. There is special mobile software for this and you can download this. In the user manual details are given.
