Grameenphone Wi-Fi Calling

Grameenphone introduces Wi-Fi Calling, also known as VoWiFi (Voice over Wi-Fi), a cutting-edge communication service that allows GP customers to make and receive voice calls and SMS using a Wi-Fi network, even in areas with limited or no cellular coverage.

This service reflects another technological milestone of Grameenphone’s nationwide superior network, ensuring seamless voice connectivity indoors and in coverage-challenged locations.

WiFi Calling works when either or both the caller and the callee are connected through Grameenphone’s partner ISPs’ Wi-Fi networks. With a stable Wi-Fi connection, customers can enjoy HD-quality voice calls - without installing any additional application and without any extra charge.

Benefits of Wi-Fi Calling

·       Extending Indoor Coverage - Stay connected in homes, offices, basements, and high-rise buildings.

·       Secure communication - Calls are securely routed over Grameenphone’s trusted ISP partner networks, and gpfi.

·       No extra app or cost - Works directly from the phone’s native dialer at regular voice call rates.

·       Call any operators - Make and receive calls to any mobile or fixed network.
