DBBL Mobile Banking Services for Grameenphone customers
Grameenphone Ltd. formally signed an agreement with Dutch-Bangla Bank Ltd. to provide DBBL Mobile Banking Services to its customers.
K. Shamsi Tabrez, Managing Director, Abul Kashem Md. Shirin, Deputy Managing Director, Mir Mominul Huq, Head of Mobile Banking and other senior management of DBBL along with Tore Johnson, Managing Director, Mahmud Hossain, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Md. Delwar Hossain Azad, Head of Financial Services and other senior management team members of Grameenphone were present at the agreement signing ceremony.
This arrangement enables DBBL to offer their mobile financial services to GP customers, who can use it directly from their handset and also utilizing a fully managed selective network of GP Mobicash agents serving over the counter on non-exclusive basis.
Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited, a banking company operating in Bangladesh with good reputation offers mobile financial services to the banked and unbanked people of Bangladesh aiming to provide them with the ultimate time-saving, user-friendly and secure solutions for financial operations via mobile phones.
Grameenphone strongly believes that joint effort and effective deployment of core skills and strength from Banking and Telecom sector will contribute significantly to improve financial inclusion for the unbanked in the country.
