Grameenphone handed over jersey to BCB

Grameenphone handed over the jersey selected from the winners of Grameenphone Jersey Utshob to Bangladesh Cricket Board today (February 8).
 
Syed Tahmeed Azizul Haq, Head of Market Communications of Grameenphone handed over the ODI jersey to Mr. Tanjeeb Ahsan Saad, Team Operations Manager, Bangladesh National Cricket team, Mr. Enayet Hussain Siraj, Director & Chairman Cricket Operations; Mr. Jalal Yunus, Director & Chairman Media Committee; Mr. Mizanur Rahman, Director & Chairman Logistic Committee, Bangladesh Cricket Board; Formar Captain Khaled Mahmud Sujan, designer Habibullah AL Imran & Mr. Anowar, General Manager Grameenknitwear were also present.

Bangladesh National Cricket Team will use this jersey in their next assignment.

Grameenphone arranged Jersey Utshob in October 2010 to to get the best design for the jersey of National Cricket Team. The contest attracted huge response from the cricket fans around the country.

Later winners were selected from 4000 designs which were submitted during the campaign period.

A Judges panel consisted of Gazi Ashraf Hossain, Chairman Tournament Committee, BCB, Tahmeed Azizul Haq, Deputy Director, Market Communications, Grameenphone, Fashion designers Imdadul Haq and Farah Anzum Bari, Beautician Farzana Shakil, former Captain of National Cricket Team Habibul Bashar and former national cricketer Atahar Ali, selected 5 designs for final contest from the shortlisted 100 designs.  
 
Grameenphone also arranged other renowned designers to design the practice and other attires of Bangladesh National Cricket Team & Practice Jerseys of the National Team also handed over to BCB.

As per the commitment towards the development of Cricket in Bangladesh Grameenphone produced the Jersey from a renowned local manufacturer, Grameen knitwear - this jersey is made of COOLMAX , Breathable , Wicking fabric along with  Moisture Management-Quick Dry, Anti-Bacterial finish & sublimation prints.
It is expected that this jersey will help to create a greater bond between the cricketers and their fans.
