Grameenphone has introduced an exciting offer for its valued customers to celebrate the New Year. From January 1, 2015 onwards Grameenphone’s five major value added services - Welcome Tunes, Breaking News, Sports Alert, Religious services and Health Tips are available at 1 taka/day each.

The offer constitutes that no matter how many SMSs on the above mentioned services a customer gets every day, the charge will be only 1 Taka/day instead of charges per SMS. To avail this exciting offer, Grameenphone customers need to dial *321# and activate their desired service.

Speaking about the service, Hasibul Haque, Head of Grameenphone Products, said, “We are glad to introduce 321 as a first of a kind service in Bangladesh. We are confident that our customers would love this offer as this is truly made keeping their convenience in mind. We will strive for more innovations like this in coming days”.

Customers can also deactivate the service by using the same code. Moreover, all the existing subscribers of these services will be automatically transferred to 1 taka/day scheme (VAT applies). Previously the customers were charged 2 taka/SMS for multiple times a day.
