The Honorable Minister of Information Hasanul Haque Inu, MP has inaugurated the Teachers Center facility of the Online School Teachers Center today at Rayerbazar, Dhaka. The Online School Teachers Center is a part of the Online School initiative supported by Grameenphone in association with JAAGO Foundation and Agni Systems Ltd. The idea of Online School is that a teacher from a distant location conducts the class using video conferencing technology with the aid of class room teachers in the actual class. All the teachers conduct classes from this Teachers Center at Rayeerbazaar. Currently there are 10 online schools in remote parts throughout the country. Senior officials of Grameenphone, JAAGO Foundation and Agni Systems Ltd. were also present at the event.
