GRAMEENPHONE AND SAMSUNG SIGN AGREEMENT FOR PREMIUM CUSTOMER SERVICES

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Grameenphone Ltd. and Samsung Bangladesh recently to provide premium offers and services to customers. The agreement is expected to ensure optimum use of respective resources to provide quality services to valued customers.

Under the agreement, Samsung Mobile Bangladesh will design special smartphone offers exclusively for Grameenphone customers, while Grameenphone will also provide offers specially designed for customers buying Samsung smartphones.

“We are happy to partner with Samsung, one of the world’s leading handset maker. Now our customers will be able to enjoy the high quality of Samsung smartphones through attractive offers from GP. Tethered to Grameenphone’s 3G network Samsung handsets will provide best in class internet experience for customers,” said Mr. Allan Bonke, Chief Marketing Officer of Grameenphone.

Commenting on the exclusive MoU with Grameenphone, Mr. Choon Soo Moon, Country Manager, Samsung Bangladesh said, “Both Samsung and Grameenphone are willing to work together to the best customer experience with Samsung’s most advanced technology and Grameenphone’s strong nationwide 3G network. And we are hopeful that together we can serve better the customer and business markets, with tailor made solution-based products and services.”

Through this agreement, Samsung smartphone users will enjoy customized Grameenphone offers exclusively made for Samsung smartphones along with year-long special voice, data and other VAS subscription plans.
