Miles - the pioneering rock and pop band of Bangladesh will celebrate 30 years of journey by performing at a mega concert organized by Grameenphone.

Apart from featuring an extended line-up of music from Miles, the mega concert, will be held at the Winter Garden of Ruposhi Bangla, which will also feature leading bands of country performing Miles songs at the event. Besides, Bikram Ghosh, Grammy Award winning percussionist from India, and Mekaal Hasan, eminent musician from Pakistan invited by Miles as part of their celebration, will also play alongside the band at the event. In addition to this, some bands from the local music arena will also perform on the show to pay tribute to Miles.

Audio visual presentations will be shown at the concert taking the audiences to the glorious 30 years journey of Miles. Desh Television will be the media partner of the event.

Miles is a well-known rock band both in the Bangladeshi music industry and abroad. They first rocked the music industry in 1982 through the release of their first self-titled album, Miles. Till then until 2006, they released five more albums - A Step Further, Protisruti, Prottasha, Prottoy and Prothidhoni.

After a hiatus of five years, they made a grand comeback in 2011, and digitally released their new album titled “Proticchobi” in collaboration with Grameenphone. The five songs of their album were available exclusively for the Grameenphone subscribers as Value Added Services (VAS) like welcome tune, full track download, music radio amongst many others through the Grameenphone Music Platform.
