World’s largest mobile phone manufacturer Samsung to launch its flagship smartphones Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge in Bangladesh with Grameenphone Ltd. Grameenphone customers will be able to pre-book the handsets from March 23, 2015.

A MOU was signed today between the companies. Mr. Hasibul Haque, Head of Product, Grameenphone Ltd. and Mr. CS Moon, Managing Director, Bangladesh Branch, Samsung India Electronics (Pvt.) Ltd. signed the agreement on behalf of the respective organizations.

Announced in earlier this month at Mobile World Congress, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge are the most anticipated handsets of the year. Price of Galaxy S6 will be BDT 69,900 while S6 edge will cost BDT 79,900. Grameenphone customers can get it at only BDT 2,500 per month in 24 easy installments, upon paying pre-booking amount of BDT 9,900.

Grameenphone customers will get exciting benefits along with the handsets. Pre-booking customers will get free accessories, free data etc.

The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge will be available with 32GB storage options (with additional 115 GB storage free for 2 years on One Drive) available in White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum during pre-booking, Blue Topaz (Galaxy S6 only) and Green Emerald (Galaxy S6 edge only) after launch.
