Over the last four years Grameenphone has been working to bring the female representation towards a better balance with focused efforts from project Gender Diversity. Through collaborative and focused drive from project team members, GP’s leaders and management team, year on year we have achieved a gradual positive movement in the curve from 2018. To achieve results Grameenphone takes a structured approach, taking one sprint at a time, focused on activities such as female talent hunt, rigorous recruitment in New Business Leader roles in the Digital and Commercial functions, introducing structured learning paths to guide females towards critical skill building, creating more champion Extended Management Team (EMT) leaders in the organization and of course the continued efforts for creating an inclusive environment through more open dialogues.
 
With these efforts combined, now, we land on the highest peak of female ratio Grameenphone has ever had, 17.02% as of 1st January 2022. We will continue to drive this journey in full momentum to reach higher milestones and to set the standards of Gender diversity & Inclusion in Grameenphone as a benchmark in the local market and beyond. Only by gaining a better balance can we move forward as a company and as a nation.
