The albums have been launched to celebrate the 30 years of his singing career.
Initially, the albums would be exclusively available for Grameenphone subscribers for a period of two months as Value Added Services (VAS) which include welcome tune and full track download etc. The songs can also be heard through the Grameenphone Music Radio Service (4040).
Commenting on the launching of the new albums, Kumar Bishajit says, “The venture to launch the albums through digital means to celebrate my 30 years of singing career is a great way to reach the new generation of audiences. I think this is a very interesting concept and more importantly, the copyright protection can be enforced properly. I’m really hopeful about this venture.” He also thanked Grameenphone for this endeavor.
